Fine Dining in Melbourne CBD | Rōnin Ōmakase

FINE DINING

Ten Seats, One Counter

Rōnin is fine dining stripped to its core: no dining room, no menu, ten seats at a single counter where the chef plates each course in front of you. In the CBD, five minutes from Southern Cross.

The format is a Korean omakase, explained on our guide.

THE MEAL

A Seasonal Set

About ten courses, chef-led, built on the day’s Australian produce and Korean technique. A$195 per guest at the soft-launch price. You leave your expectations at the door and let the counter lead.

The dishes are in the gallery; the room in the press.

THE CHEF

A Serious Kitchen

Chef Liam Lee brings a decade in acclaimed Melbourne kitchens, Nomad, Firebird and Studio Amaro, and training at Gyungbokgung Hanjungsik in Seoul.
