A Ten Seat Korean Omakase in Melbourne
Omakase
Melbourne’s First
Korean Fusion Omakase
A Ten-Seat Counter, No Printed Menu
Rōnin is a ten-seat counter with no printed menu and no à la carte. The chef sends about ten courses, one at a time, chosen by the day’s produce and the run of the seasons. As Melbourne’s first Korean fusion omakase, opened in 2023, no two sittings are quite the same.
The Chef's Choice, Course by Course
Every course is the chef’s choice, finished at the counter and handed straight across to you. A full sitting runs about two hours, and each dish comes together an arm’s length away.
Built on Korean Fermentation, Jang & Charcoal
The cooking builds on Korean fermentation, jang and charcoal, plated with Australian seasonal produce. The omakase is A$195 per guest at the soft launch price, Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm.
