For two, book two seats. For a group, book up to ten and the counter is yours; the private omakase page explains the buyout. Tell us the occasion in the booking notes. Courses are fixed, so there is no birthday dessert swap, but the room will mark the night.

A ten seat room is private without being empty. Side by side seats, about ten courses over two hours, and a chef who reads the table. Date night at the counter covers the two person version.

Dates and the Release Rule
Seats for the next month open on the 20th of each month at 8pm via OpenTable. If the birthday falls on a Friday or Saturday, book the evening of the release. For a date that has already passed its release and is not showing, email info@roninomakase.com.
Read Before You Book for Someone Else
No dietary alterations for anyone at the counter. No BYO. Service starts on time. Dinner only, Wednesday to Saturday. The dietary page is the one to send to your guests.
Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and Other Special Dates
Special dates follow the usual rhythm: the counter runs Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm, and seats for each month are released on the 20th of the month before. If a special date falls on one of those nights, book the evening the calendar opens. The Christmas and end of year page covers group bookings in December.

Can you do a birthday cake or candle?
Courses are fixed and we cannot add outside food, including cakes. Mention the birthday in your booking and the counter will mark it.
How many people can a birthday booking hold?
Up to ten at the counter. Larger groups, up to 50, by email arrangement.
Can we bring champagne for an anniversary?
No. BYO is not available. Drinks are ordered at the counter.
Is a gift booking possible?
Book the seats in your own name and add the guest names in the notes. A card secures the booking and you pay at the end of the meal.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Not at the moment.
